CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Wildfire Sculpt Pilates
 

This class is conducted in a room heated to around 32-36C degrees. Wildfire Sculpt Pilates is a class focussing on sculpting your body, creating long lean muscle mass and improved core strength and posture.  The class will push you using foundational pilates techniques.  

 

All Fitness Levels are welcome (instructors can give alternate options to movements if you have any injuries or are still building up your strength and fitness. The class is for you and you can determine how you are feeling on the day.)

Stretch
 

This class is conducted in a warm room. Strech class is exactly as the name suggests, it's setting aside dedicated time to stretch your muscles. When we exercise sometimes we tend to neglect recovery which gives our body a chance to recharge and be better prepared for more physical activity. Stretching gives many benefits to the body, it can decrease your risk of injury, help your joints move through their full range of motion, increase muscle blood flow, it will also improve your flexibility.

Wildfire Vinyasa Flow Yoga
 

We have both hot and not hot Vinyasa Flow classes, if you see the word Wildfire it means hot and this class is conducted in a room heated to around 32-34C degrees.  Vinyasa is a style of yoga where poses are strung together to form one fluid sequence of movement.  Classes are fast-paced and rhythmical, with a focus on connecting the movements with the rhythm of the breath.  Vinyasa Flow classes do not have a set sequence or a certain amount or type of poses to get through. No two classes are ever the same, and often the sequences are creative and playful.

Vin Yin Yoga
 

Vin Yin is a combination of Vinyasa and Yin Yoga.  The first half of the class is a Vinyasa sequence followed by Yin in the second half. The Vinyasa portion warms the body up and rids your body of excess Prana, or energy. After this, your body is ready to relax and lengthen during the Yin Yoga portion.

Both sequences compliment each other with Vinyasa building strength and releasing energy and the Yin allowing the body a deep stretch increasing flexibility and relaxation.

Restorative Yin Yoga
 

Restorative Yin is entirely made up of poses done close to the ground, like seated forward folds, hip openers, supine twists, and supported backbends. There is no flow, vinyasa, or standing postures. All poses are held for 3-5 minutes per side and are taught with a variety of props to support the weight of the body.

Mini & Me Pilates
(Ages 6wks-9mths)

 

Mini & Me is FINALLY here!!  Age range from 6 weeks to 12 months.  Mini & Me Pilates classes are a blissful combination of bonding with your baby, moving your body and keeping yourself and your beautiful bub happy and healthy. It's also a beautiful way to connect with other parents, get out of the house and enjoy your postnatal or early parenting period!

 

We will have a play mat out but please feel free to bring your baby bouncer/rocker to pop at the back of class.  

 

Settling your little one, feeding etc are all encouraged as it's part of the journey.

Wildfire LIIT Pilates
 

Wildfire LIIT (Lower Impact Interval Training) Pilates. This class is conducted in a room heated to around 32-36C degrees. Wildfire LIIT Pilates is our signature class that combines pilates principles with a cardio workout. The class is upbeat and fast-paced, it offers one of the best workouts to tone, trim and burn. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up which in turn burns more fat in less time with intense bursts of exercise, followed by short recovery periods. If music helps to motivate you when working out then this class is the one for you with all sequences timed to the beat of the music.  So come prepared to groove and sweat.  It's also a whole lot of fun.

Gentle Pilates
 

We have Gentle Pilates in both heated and unheated time slots.  If you see the word Wildfire it's a hot class.  Gentle Pilates is a workout that combines strength training, cardio, and mind body balance into one fun and dynamic workout. There is a strong focus on pilates technique so if that's something you would like to improve then this is a great class. Whilst it's less intense than our Sculpt class you can be rest assured you'll get a great workout in with each movement flowing easily into the next. You will leave feeling lighter, taller, and stronger with an overall energised feeling!

Wildfire Breathwork
 

Wildfire Breathwork is conducted in a room heated with infrared heating panels.  The room is heated between 32 and 36 degrees.  Infrared heat has many health benefits including but not limited to detoxification, muscle relaxation, pain relief, and improved circulation. 

 

Be guided through Breathwork and Meditation where you will experience the benefits of controlled breathing to enhance a greater sense of self-awareness and self-healing.

 

This session will calm your mind, body and soul and you will leave with tools to help you breathe better in your everyday world.  If you feel overwhelmed, stressed or off-balance, then this is a must attend class for you.

Wildfire Hatha Soft Flow Yoga
 

This class is conducted in a room heated to around 32-36C degrees.  In Hatha Soft Flow Yoga you will move your body slowly and deliberately into different poses that challenge your strength and flexibility, while at the same time focusing on relaxation and mindfulness.  Hatha places special emphasis on controlled breathing and posture. Building core strength, which is key to good posture.  Poses are usually held for several breaths before you move onto the next.

BoxFit
 

Develop core strength with boxing techniques and drills; an all over cardio and strength training workout. Allowing you to develop superior upper body strength, core strength, quickness and agility, cardiovascular fitness and improved posture all at the same time, boxing classes is great for all ages and fitness levels.

Outdoor Bootcamp
 

Bootcamp is a full-body workout.  It is high intensity training alternated with lighter activity.  It builds cardiovascular fitness while improving muscular strength and endurance.  People are challenged too push to their limits and walk out feeling strong.
